WAYS TO STOP PROCRASTINATION

   WHAT IS PROCRASTINATION-An act of delaying any task until last minute despite of heavy consequences.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Now days, problem of procrastination becomes so normal that most of the peoples do not take it seriously. But prolonged procrastination leads to reduce focus, mental power, self-control, productivity, mental and physical illness and so on.  After covid pandemic, the problem of procrastination increases rapidly among teenagers. It is not easy to deal with procrastination for a person who is suffering from it.so, here are some ways to help you to deal with this problem                                                       1.) First step is to find your true feeling at that moment- This is very important to find your actual feeling of delaying your work. Acknowledge your true feelings and try to tackle your negative thoughts by positive affirmations.                                                                                                                                                                        2.) Focus on the consequences- It means before delaying your task, focus on consequences you will face after procrastination. This will help you to save your time from delaying your work.                                                                                                                                      3.) Stop social media- social media is the largest distraction for this generation. But if you want to overcome this problem, you have to stop using social media sites or if you can't than at least reduce time on social media.

4.) Start any healthy habit- It means start any healthy habit which gives you positive energy. For example- Meditation, exercise, walking outdoor, thoughtfully reading, sleeping habit etc.

5.) Find or develop any hobby- Hobby helps us to enjoy our free time and gives pleasure. Some of the hobbies which is going to help are     yoga, traveling, painting, learning new instruments, cooking different cuisines, photography, pottery, knitting etc.                                                                                                                                            6.) Spend time with your loved ones, pet etc.
